failure of any hardware not purchased or currently under warranty
from CGrafiks even if it fails while in our possession, and no
responsibility for any files that might be stored on any hardware.
1. What information does CGrafiks collect from me?
We may collect personal information such as your name, mailing
address, phone number, e-mail address, credit card number, and
other billing information. Sometimes we save driving directions
to your home for onsite service calls. We do not store your checking,
debit, or credit card information. We only store your email address
if you submit it to CGrafiks by a comment form, customer survey,
email submission, newsletter, or another legitimate form of advertisement

2. When does CGrafiks collect information from me?
When using products or services available from CGrafiks, you may
be asked to provide personal information. For example, you may
be asked to provide personal information when you schedule an
appointment for services; bring in your product for service; purchase
products; contact CGrafiks for Remote Assistance; initiate a chat
session; participate in a sweepstakes, promotion, or survey; and/or

3. How is my information used?
CGrafiks uses the information you provide to fulfill requests
for service or information; provide customer service; administer
sweepstakes, promotions or surveys; offer new products or services;
improve the effectiveness of our Web site, marketing endeavors
and offers; conduct research and analysis; send marketing communications;
or perform other business activities.
During certain phases of the computer repair process,
a technician may be required to examine your personal data on
the computer to verify integrity and working order of the files.
Such times may be a result of importing a backup of your personal
data such as pictures, documents, internet favorites, internet
history, cookies, and any other personal data that we may be required
to transfer. During this phase we try to interact as little as
possible with your personal data. During complete operating system
reloads we may be required to backup your important data and transfer
to the newly reloaded operating system. We may also (but are not
required) to keep a backup copy of your personal data such as
Documents, Internet Favorites, Desktop icons, and Emails on our
bench computer for up to 30 days of your completed service order.
We keep this data incase your system crashes during the first
30 days of installing a new hard drive or other necessary hardware.
By leaving a computer system or other digital device with CGrafiks
staff and authorized sub-contractors, the customer gives implied
consent and unlimited access to all data, private or otherwise,
stored on the computer system.
CGrafiks staff are required to treat all customers personal information
stored on computer hard drives, CDs, DVDs memory sticks, flash
cards or any digital format as confidential and are prohibited
from viewing, copying, discussing or distributing such data except
as needed to protect data from deletion or damage, troubleshoot,
examine, repair or test a device capable of storing such data
or as required by state and federal law.
CGrafiks will act with due diligence to protect the confidentiality
of any data left in its possession, but will accept no liability
for the loss or theft of such data.

4. Does CGrafiks share my personal information with others?
CGrafiks does not sell or rent your personal information to third
parties, although we may need to share your personal information
with certain third parties such as our service providers and other
representatives for limited purposes. For example, CGrafiks may
share personal information with third parties to send marketing
communications; service products; conduct research, analysis or
administer surveys; send mail and e-mail; process credit card
payments, administer sweepstakes, provide call-center, data storage,
and hosting services.
The third parties with whom CGrafiks conducts business are only
authorized to use your information to perform the service for
which they were hired. As part of our agreement with them, they
are required to follow the privacy guidelines given to them and

system timelines, and the form in which we received your request,
it may take up to ten business days for e-mails, 30 calendar days
for phone calls, and six weeks for direct mail to remove you from
CGrafiks marketing lists. Until the change takes effect, you may
still receive marketing communications from us. Also, please note
that even though you may have requested not to receive future
marketing communications, you may still receive business-related
notices such as appointment confirmation calls, billing information,
or other organization-related information. Further, opting out
of CGrafiks marketing communications does not remove you from

8. How does CGrafiks secure my personal information?
Whether you receive services or purchase products in CGrafiks
locations, use CGrafiks.com, have services performed at your location,
or contact CGrafiks by phone, we take reasonable precautions to
protect against the loss, misuse and unauthorized access of your
personal information. This includes personal information that
you provide to complete a purchase. We cannot ensure or warrant
the security of any information you transmit by e-mail, and you
do so at your own risk.
We do not store your credit, or debit card information when you
make a transaction with CGrafiks.
We do however transmit your credit or debit card information to
our Merchant Provider at United Payment Services. We are not responsible
for your information once it is passed on to them for verification.
Please note that while CGrafiks is able to protect personal information
that is provided during the course of business, we cannot take
responsibility for data loss on the products or systems serviced.

10. Remote Assistance Sessions
CGrafiks Technicians use remote access to diagnose and
resolve system problems. This lets us access your computer to
determine the problem and either repair it or provide advice on
possible repair options. By taking advantage of this service,
you give permission to a CGrafiks technician to log into your
computer, which may contain personal information. He or she will
only search your computer to determine the cause of the problem
and will attempt to minimize interaction with your data. It is
your responsibility to ensure that all of your files, especially
those containing personal information, are secure to prevent any
type of data loss or corruption. We do monitor your IP address
during a remote assistance session to avoid any complication or
unpaid debts.

11. Does CGrafiks use cookies to collect information about
me?

to your browser, which may then be stored on your hard drive.
CGrafiks e-mails and Web sites may use cookies to create a more
